Q. What is included on your buffet?

A. We offer an extensive menu of over 90 menu items each day, many of which are made from scratch. We carefully prepare each item in small batches, enough to serve 8-12 people, to ensure freshness at the food bar. Many of our entrée and side dish selections change each day to provide our guests with even greater variety. Some of the consistent offerings at both lunch and dinner include: choice of two hot soups, mashed potatoes, bread dressing, gravy, rolls, assorted seasonal vegetables, an extensive build-you-own salad bar, prepared pasta and vegetable salads, warm cinnamon rolls and caramel rolls, a variety of hot and cold beverages, and desserts such as Apple Crisp, Cherry Cobbler, cookies, assorted cakes,and soft serve ice cream. Our dinner menu always includes 1 to 3 freshly carved meats, such as turkey, roast beef, and ham in addition to many other hot entrees. Be sure to keep in mind that we have one low price that covers everything the entire meal as well as all of your beverages and desserts. Our menu is updated regularly and the examples listed above are subject to change.

Q. Do you ever change items on your buffet?

A. We serve over 90 items on our buffet every day and the menu changes on a daily
basis to give our guests even more variety and value. We also introduce some seasonal variations in our entrees, side dishes, salads, and desserts that are specific to the fall/winter and spring/summer timeframes. Recently, we have introduced some limited-time menu themes that are offered one or two nights a week for a period of two or three months. The purpose of these limited time menus is to continually freshen our menu selection for our guests so there is also something new and exciting
to taste on our buffets.

Q. Can I eat healthy at your buffet?

A. Yes, you can definitely eat healthy at our buffet because we offer a large variety of menu selections, allowing our guests to choose the foods that best fit their particular diets and preferences. We have an extensive salad bar that includes low-calorie dressing alternatives. You will likely find items that fit well with specific diet preferences, such as for low carborhydrate or high fiber diets. For example, we often serve baked fish, baked chicken, vegetables and reduced sugar desserts.

Q. Do you offer sugar free desserts?

A. We do not currently offer any sugar free desserts, but we do offer a number of reduced sugar and no-sugar-added desserts. Many of these desserts are made with milk, which contains the naturally-occurring milk sugar, lactose. Our restaurants usually offer strawberry frozen yogurt, a non-fat dessert sweetened with NutraSweet.

Q. What are your prices?

A. Our prices vary from city to city, and from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Please check with the restaurant you are planning to visit if you wish to get exact adult, children, and senior prices. It?s important to remember that we have an advantage over other buffet restaurants as our price typically covers everything – the entire meal as well as all of your beverage and dessert selections. (Note that in limited markets pricing practices may differ, and the company may offer specialty alternatives for an additional fee.)

Q. What hours are you open?

A. Please check with your local Old Country Buffet, Country Buffet, or HomeTown Buffet for their specific hours of operation as hours do vary from location to location. Generally, our restaurants are open Monday – Thursday 11:00 a.m. – 8:00/8:30 p.m., Friday 11:00-8:30/9:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. – 8:30/9:00 p.m. Not all of our restaurants serve breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday, so in those cases the restaurants would open at about 11:00 a.m. for lunch. Most of our restaurants also employ special summer or winter hours. It is always best to call the restaurant to verify their hours of operation, especially if you are planning to visit at the start or end of these estimated hours of operation.

Q. How can I purchase your gift certificates?

A. Our gift certificates are available at each of our more than 400 buffet restaurants, and they are good at all buffet locations: Country Buffet, Old Country Buffet, HomeTown Buffet, and Country Roadhouse Buffet and Grill. They are sold in denominations of $5 and $10, and cash is given back at the restaurants if the guest has change coming back. For your
added convenience, we also sell our gift certificates on this website. We offer four methods of shipment. Orders are generally processed the same day if received by 2:00 PM Pacific Standard time, or on the following business day if received after 2:00 PM. Q. Can your restaurants accommodate large groups?

A. Some of our restaurants have private banquet rooms which can be reserved in advance during certain time periods. Please check directly with the restaurant for availability and seating capacity.
